Why stainless steel needs controlled finishing
Stainless steel is often used for visible products, decoration, kitchen equipment, cabinets, signs and machinery covers. The edge must be safe, but the surface also needs to stay clean and consistent.
Common requirements
- Remove sharp burrs after cutting.
- Reduce scratches from manual handling.
- Create a straight or uniform brushed texture.
- Prepare the part before welding or assembly.
Machine selection
For narrow parts, a compact model can be enough. For repeated batches or wide panels, a 1000 mm or 1300 mm finishing machine gives better efficiency. If the surface is visible, test abrasive belt and brush combinations before ordering.
